About Us

In 2013, as we prepared to welcome our final child, we felt a deep commitment to giving our baby the healthiest possible start in life. Like many parents, we chose to embrace organic and natural products wherever possible, creating a nurturing foundation built on care and intention.

When Abel was born, we instantly fell in love. Soon after, I began searching for a feeding bottle suitable for water or supplemental feeding. During this process, I was surprised to discover that there were no bottles available in the Australian or international markets that were entirely free from plastic components.

At the same time, I became increasingly aware of the lingering social stigma surrounding bottle feeding, often viewed as incompatible with natural parenting. I strongly believe that a mother’s choice—guided by her circumstances and her child’s needs—should never be subject to judgment. It became clear to me that there was an opportunity to create a product that aligned with natural parenting values while empowering parents to make confident, informed decisions without social bias.

With this vision in mind, I partnered with a dedicated and highly patient engineer to design a bottle that was both beautiful and completely free from carcinogenic materials. After twelve months of rigorous design development, refinement, and testing, we achieved a solution that met our high standards for safety, function, and aesthetics.

My family and I then travelled to Malaysia to partner with a manufacturing company that could support our commitment to quality and compliance. Many hours were spent in boardrooms—often with Abel happily crawling at our feet—overcoming the technical and regulatory challenges required to meet Australian and international standards, while preserving the integrity and elegance of our design.

The Baby Quoddle “Abel Series” grew steadily and organically with the guidance and expertise of professionals both locally and abroad. Our design was successfully patented, and by late 2015 and early 2016, all the elements were finally in place to bring our vision to life.

Our Vision

To provide parents with genuine choice through high-quality, natural products that support the healthiest possible start for their babies.

Our bottles are crafted from Hevea brasiliensis natural rubber and hand-blown borosilicate glass—materials chosen for their purity, durability, and safety. Every component has been carefully sourced to ensure the highest quality standards.

Beyond materials, our vision is to help reshape the narrative around bottle feeding. There remains a cultural bias that can leave mothers feeling scrutinised for their choices. At Baby Quoddle, we believe every mother’s circumstances are unique, and her decisions deserve respect and support.

With growing awareness of allergies and childhood health concerns, our bottle provides an alternative for families seeking plastic-free feeding solutions. Baby Quoddle teats are softer than silicone and moulded in a single piece, eliminating joints or seams where bacteria can accumulate, enhancing hygiene and safety.

The Baby Quoddle is designed as a nursing bottle, encouraging parents to hold and engage with their baby during feeding time. Research consistently highlights the importance of skin-to-skin contact and connection in early development. While our bottle is made from durable borosilicate glass, it may break if dropped; therefore, we recommend supervised nursing during use.

After three years of design and development, Baby Quoddle represents our dedication to combining natural materials, thoughtful design, and parental empowerment.

Vision Statement

To give our babies a natural start through conscious bottle feeding.

Mission Statement

To foster style, confidence, and informed choice in modern urban parenting.
